Who Can Issue the Apostille on a UK Document?
The apostille is a government certificate issued on a UK document that is being presented overseas. In the UK the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is the ‘Competent Authority’ for issuing apostilles. Working alongside the FCDO are business services, like us, that assist customers in obtaining the apostille on their UK documents.
What is the main difference?
Speed! The FCDO take around 2 to 3 weeks to issue an apostille. We visit the FCDO office for an expedite service and complete most orders in around 2 days.
Customer Service! We are on hand to check documents, provide advice, assist when documents are rejected, and to make the process easier.
Inclusive Service! We can arrange for documents to be signed by our solicitor, obtain replacement documents and providing embassy attestation. We offer a one-stop solution for legalising documents.
If you have plenty of time then the FCDO will add the apostille on your documents (assuming there are no problems with your documents). Need a quicker service with great customer support? Then contact an apostille service for help getting your document apostilled.
